  Vom Logo zur Identität im HfG Archiv Ulm

  We are pleased to announce that the exhibition "Identity Systems Germany," which we curated and designed, will be shown at the HfG Archive/Museum Ulm from October 23, 2026. After two stops in Japan, the exhibition will make its German premiere in the rooms of the former Ulm School of Design, perhaps the most important birthplace of modern and systematic design in post-war Germany. The exhibits include posters, small print items, and original designs for visual identities that shaped the image of the young Federal Republic. The exhibition is a collaborative project between the A5 Collection (Katharina Sussek & Prof. Jens Müller), Düsseldorf, and the DNP Foundation for Cultural Promotion, Tokyo.

  New book on the history of Lufthansa

  Based on newly accessed sources and materials from the company's archives, ”Lufthansa – The First 100 Years“ offers a compelling narrative of Lufthansa’s development—set against the backdrop of Germany’s turbulent twentieth century. Political, economic, and technological contexts are explored alongside the company’s evolving brand identity, characterized by consistently innovative design. The book provides insight into landmark aircraft, key developments in engineering and global reach, and the day-to-day operations that shaped the airline’s direction. With rare photographs, vintage advertising material, and internal documents, this volume combines historical insight with visual richness. The book, designed by vista, will be published in March 2026 in German and English editions by Prestel Verlag.
